It's hard to look at the boys without heading back to Germany. I'll bet you'll want to, also. Check out their 4 month pictures here. To see their videos click here.
Boys, Grandma Dorie can't wait until Christmas, when I can hold you both again.
Here are a couple of pictures of our Uncle Toby running in Cross Country. He even had his own group called Toby's Angels running from Molt, Montana to Billings Senior High School.
You are on our hearts and in our prayers as you grow strong and healthy each day. Always know the Lord is by you, keeping you safe. Papa and Grandma miss you both and can't wait to hold you again. Kisses and Hugs!
Tomorrow we leave our new, sweet grandchildren in Germany and return to our precious three in Montana. Good-bye, sweet babies! The Lord will watch over you, wherever you go. You will always be in our hearts and in our prayers. God Bless You and Your Mommy and Daddy! Our Love Forever, Die Oma und der Opa Visit FOTOS BY FLETCH to view a photo album ready by August 15th. (Click on his "foto" button and go into "Proofs and Orders.") This is password protected, but just ask the Oma and the Opa for it. Tchuss!!
One of our highlights in Switzerland was with our Grandma Dorie at the hotel. We really didn't like her story, but we loved hearing her voice. The Olivar Twins
We are very, very proud of our special Uncle Toby! He's the bomb! Hey, Toby! Can you play with us? We want to do bubbles....then, fly a kite....then, can we do some sidewalk chalk?...How about a popsicle?...Hey, let's watch Underdog or Garfield! Please, Uncle Toby? Just one more time!
Did we tell you he is studying to get into the Air Force?
Ready, set, go....! Our Easter egg hunt for Madison and Aidan was quite the event. Listen and watch closely and you will notice the parents---what, cheating?
Happy Anniversary, Honey! Can you believe it has been 35 years? Where did the time go?
We won't be together this year to celebrate, but I'll be waiting for you in Germany to join me very soon.
Although I am across the world from you, I wanted to get you something special. I thought about what gift I could give you from here. This is what I came up with--a family blog!
What you see today is only the start. You can share this with others--just give them your web address. Anyone you want can visit from anywhere. I'll be adding to it and changing it.
For now you'll be able to see your new grandchildren through pictures and video. If you want a closeup of a picture, just click on the picture and it will open full-screen.
When you come in July, we can plan a special trip or dinner here.
This is Dominic Eric and Donovan Erin again. Watch us as we sleep and sing in our newest videos! We are only 6 days old and already star in our very own productions!
Tchuss! (Yes, we are already learning German, too.)
In Germany it is the custom to hang a line with baby clothes in the front yard or set up a stork. Daddy hung a clothesline to let all our neighbors know we were born. Grandma tried to sneak in something pink, but mommy and daddy got that corrected. No confusion here! We are strong boys just like our daddy. We are so strong that we are nearly rolling over after just six days.
This is our mommy and daddy bringing us home from the hospital. What do you think of us?
Love you all from,
Dominic & Donovan
Did you catch Psycho's reaction? Mommy was hurt when he didn't have anything to do with her for the first day. She says he'll just have to get over it. Jealousy....!
Here are a couple of videos of Madison Emily, Aidan Michael, and Kiersten Rose our other three precious grandchildren. Madison and Aidan are now over three years old (born 10 days apart). Kiersten is almost 6 months old.
I'm not saying which one of us this is, but watch what you're exposing there!
On Monday, June 23rd, 2008 our gorgeous angel twins were born in Landstuhl, Germany. Daddy Greg is an Air Force Tech Sergeant stationed at Ramstein Air Force Base and Mommy Carrie is a middle school counselor for middle school students. She just resigned as a part-time secretary for Headquarters USAFE.
Dominic Eric Olivar was born at 8:54 am, weighing 6 lbs. 6 oz.
Donovan Erin Olivar was born at 8:56 am weighing 6 lbs. 4 oz.
Both boys are about 19 1/2 inches in length. Currently, they are 90% certain they are identical twins.
Our little family is doing quite well. Enjoy the snapshots.
UPDATE: AS WE WERE LEAVING THE HOSPITAL WITH THE BOYS, GREG RECEIVED A CALL FROM HIS CHIEF. GREG IS NOW A MASTER SERGEANT! GREG SAID THIS WAS THE "ICING ON THE CAKE" ON A VERY SPECIAL DAY.
:0) :0)
Hooray for my daddy! He made it!
He's now Master Sergeant Gregory Eric Olivar, Sir!
Tim and Doretta Lambert are the proud grandparents of five precious grandchildren. This is our website to tell you all about them. The Lord has graciously and richly blessed us. Let us share our "treasures" with you...
Schone Danke!
Guten Tag! Sie haben eine schones Reise!
About us...
Tchuss! I am the editor of our family blog and the proud grandma. Besides being the mother of seven and now the grandmother of five, I am a 3rd grade teacher.
Tim is my husband of 35 years and works as a family specialist/consultant. I am sending him this blog on our anniversary as a special gift to him.
Tim, who would have ever thought that being a grandma and a grandpa could be so much fun? Did you ever imagine it would be like this when we'd be sitting in our rockers?
